2. Data we collect, and when
We collect only what is necessary for the service you come to use. If you simply browse the website, we do not ask you for your name or phone number at all.
2.1 When you visit this website
The general pages of this website have no forms for you to fill in, and we do not create user accounts on the website, except the practice room booking page (djlabsiam.com/book), which has a form — see section 2.5. The website runs scripts from external service providers, and those providers receive your technical data, such as your IP address, browser type, the device you use, and the pages you open.
| Service | What it does |
|---|---|
| Meta (Facebook) | Meta Pixel — measures the shop's advertising; it starts as soon as a page opens (except the practice room booking page) and sets Meta cookies; you can turn it off, see section 8. A Facebook video embedded in the page — when the page loads this video, Meta receives your technical data and may set Meta cookies. |
| Google Fonts | Loads the fonts used to display the page. |
| jsDelivr | Loads a library for the motion effects on the page. |
| LINE | The practice room booking page loads LINE's script so that it can be used inside the LINE app (loaded only when you open the booking page inside the LINE app). |
| Supabase | The practice room booking page calls the shop's database on Supabase to show free times and to send your booking — Supabase receives your technical data. |
2.2 When you become a member of the shop
Membership registration is done at the shop. We record your full name, phone number, and the membership number issued to you.
2.3 When you link your LINE account to a membership number
If you choose to link your LINE account to your membership number, we record your
LINE user ID (LINE User ID) together with your membership number,
so that the system knows which member is messaging us.
We do not have access to your friends list, your chats with other people, or any other data in your LINE account.
2.4 When you join the shop's Discord community
When you verify yourself with your membership number in our Discord server, the system records your Discord user ID and the membership number used for verification, in order to grant access to the members' rooms.
2.5 When you book the practice room or enroll in a course
We record your name, contact details, the date and time of the booking, and the items you select, in order to schedule and get back to you.
If you book the practice room through the website, we record your name, contact method (phone number and/or email), the date and time of the booking, the equipment setup you selected, any note you type, the language you used, and the channel that brought you to the booking page (for example Instagram or Google Maps), together with the time you ticked the consent box, in order to confirm the booking, get back to you, and let you check the status of your booking with the reference code.
If you open the booking page inside the LINE app, we also record your LINE user ID, in order to send a confirmation back to you through LINE (this can only be sent once you are a friend of the shop's LINE account).
2.6 Photos and videos in the shop or in class
We may take photos or videos of the atmosphere in the shop, in classes, or at events, to publish on the shop's channels. If your face is clearly visible in a photo, we will ask your permission before publishing it, and if you later do not wish it to stay published, tell us at any time and we will take it down.
3. What we use the data for
- Provide the service you contacted us for — selling products, teaching, practice room booking, equipment repair
- Confirm membership status and provide member benefits
- Get back to you about orders, class schedules, bookings, or warranty
- Send news, promotions, and shop activities through the channels you chose to follow
- Review advertising performance, to improve what we offer
- Comply with legal obligations, such as accounting and tax documents
We do not sell your personal data to anyone, and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing.
4. Legal bases we rely on
- Performance of a contract — data necessary for sales, teaching, bookings, and warranty
- Consent — sending marketing news, and publishing photos in which your face is clearly visible, which you can withdraw at any time
- Legitimate interests — reviewing advertising performance and keeping our systems secure
- Legal obligation — keeping accounting and tax documents
5. Which providers we use
We use external service providers to store and process data. Each has its own privacy policy.
| Provider | What it is used for |
|---|---|
| Meta Platforms | Facebook page · Instagram account · Facebook video embedded in the website · advertising system · Meta Pixel (ad measurement on this website) |
| LINE | The shop's official account · linking accounts to membership numbers · sending practice room booking confirmations |
| Google Workspace · membership data sheets · teaching schedule calendar · web fonts | |
| Supabase | Database of members, products, and bookings |
| Discord | The shop's online community and member verification system |
| GitHub | Hosts this website |
Some providers have servers outside Thailand, so your data may be sent to and stored outside the Kingdom. We choose providers that have data protection measures in line with international standards.
6. How long we keep data
- Member data — kept for as long as you are a member, and deleted when you ask us to delete it
- Sales documents and warranty certificates — kept for the period required by accounting and tax law
- Practice room booking data for bookings made through the website or LINE — kept for 12 months after the booking date; after that we delete the data that identifies you (name, contact details, LINE user ID), while the date, time, and amount are kept for accounting
- Other booking data — kept only as long as necessary to provide the service and for later review
- LINE and Discord user IDs — deleted when you unlink your account or leave the community
If you want to know how long your own data in particular is kept, contact us through the channels in section 12. We will answer according to your case.
7. Your rights
Under the PDPA you have the following rights, and you can exercise them free of charge.
- Access — ask to see what data we hold about you, and ask for a copy
- Rectification — have your data kept accurate and up to date
- Erasure — have data deleted when it no longer needs to be kept
- Restriction — ask us to stop using your data temporarily
- Objection — object to your data being used for marketing or other reasons
- Data portability — ask to receive your data in a format you can reuse
- Withdraw consent — withdraw at any time, without affecting what was lawfully done before
- Complain — complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee Office if you believe we have acted improperly
Contact us through the channels in section 12. We will act within the time the law requires.
8. Cookies, Meta Pixel and turning off tracking
This website does not create cookies of its own, but it uses the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms to measure the shop's advertising on Facebook and Instagram — how many people the ads bring to look at the courses or contact the shop. The Meta Pixel starts as soon as you open a page, and sets Meta cookies named _fbp (and _fbc, if you arrived from a Facebook or Instagram ad) in your browser. These cookies last about 3 months. The practice room booking page (djlabsiam.com/book) does not use the Meta Pixel.
8.1 What the Meta Pixel sends to Meta
- Sent — which page of the website you open (that page's address and the page you came from), whether you open the courses page or a teacher's profile, and whether you press the shop's LINE link or phone number (only that it was LINE or phone — the number and any message are not sent), together with technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the device you use, and the ID in the _fbp cookie
- Not sent — your name, phone number, email, anything you type, or booking details; and we have turned off the Meta Pixel's advanced matching
- If you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram in the same browser, Meta may link this visit to your account, in line with Meta's policy
- Meta stores and uses the data it receives under Meta's own privacy policy, and the data may be sent and stored outside Thailand, as described in section 5
8.2 How to turn it off
- Press "Turn off ad measurement" at the bottom of this page, or of any other page of the website that uses the Meta Pixel — the website will no longer load the Meta Pixel in this browser, and deletes the _fbp / _fbc cookies it set. Your choice is remembered in your browser (if you clear your browser's site data you will need to press it again), and you can press the same button again to turn it back on.
- If your browser has Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control (GPC) switched on, we treat that as already off and do not load the Meta Pixel
- Set your browser to block third-party cookies, or use a browser extension that blocks tracking scripts
- Adjust the ad settings in your own Facebook or Instagram account
The Facebook video embedded in the page may set Meta's own cookies; the button above does not cover that. Use the browser setting or extension described above.
9. Data security
We limit access to member data to the team members who need it. The systems that store data use encrypted connections and have access controls at the database level. However, no system is 100% secure. If a data breach occurs that puts you at risk, we will notify you and act as the law requires.
10. Minors
Our services are open to people of all ages who are interested in music. If a user is under 20 years old and the matter requires consent, we may ask for the consent of a parent or guardian first.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The version shown on this page is the version currently in force; see the last updated date at the top of the page.
